Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026 (draft). This policy is operated by [[TBD-LEGAL-ENTITY]], [[TBD-LEGAL-ADDRESS]] ("ImageGenAI", "we", "us"). Questions can be sent to [[TBD-CONTACT-EMAIL]].
The short version
- You can use ImageGenAI as a guest. We create a guest session for you when you first generate an image, and we remember a browser identifier so that free limits work fairly.
- Free-plan pictures start out public. They, and the prompts used to make them, may be shown in a public gallery after a review. Do not put private or personal information into a free prompt.
- We send your prompts and any reference images to an AI provider so that the picture can be generated.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
- Guest session data: a guest account identifier, a session cookie, and a browser identifier created by a fingerprinting library (we call it the visitor ID).
- Account data: if you sign in, your email address, display name and profile picture from your sign-in provider, and the credits and subscriptions linked to your account.
- Content you give us: prompts, reference images you upload, settings such as ratio and style, and the pictures we generate for you.
- Payment data: handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of the purchase, the plan and the last digits of a card, not the full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and error logs.
- Messages: what you write to us when you contact support.
How we use your information
We use information to provide the service (create your images, keep your history, apply credits), to prevent abuse (limit the number of free sessions per visitor ID and IP address, and ask for a human check when behavior looks automated), to review content before it is shown in the gallery, to process payments, to fix errors and improve the service, and to answer your messages.
Prompts and images are checked by automated moderation before and after generation. Content that breaks our rules may be blocked, removed or reported where the law requires.
Public images and the gallery
If you generate without paying, even if you only use a guest session or a free account, your results are visible to everyone by default. After review, a result may appear in a gallery that anyone can view, together with its prompt. A paid plan can keep results private.
Once an image has been public, others may have seen, saved or shared it. We cannot take back copies made by other people. You can ask us to remove an image from the gallery using the contact address above. Guest results are also removed from your own history after 7 days; [[TBD-GUEST-FILE-DELETION]].
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the tool you asked for), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, product improvement), consent (non-essential cookies and analytics, where required) and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
Cookies and similar technologies
- Essential: a session cookie that keeps your guest or signed-in session; a visitor ID that supports free-use limits. Lifetime: [[TBD-COOKIE-LIFETIMES]].
- Security: a human-check service (Cloudflare Turnstile) that may run when activity looks automated.
- Analytics: measurement tools that tell us which pages are used and where errors occur. [[TBD-ANALYTICS-CONSENT]]
- First-visit source: a short-lived cookie that records how you arrived on the site, so we can understand which pages are useful.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but the guest session and free limits may stop working.
Who we share information with
- AI processing providers: third-party AI infrastructure and processing providers receive your prompt and any reference images to create the picture.
- Hosting, storage and delivery: infrastructure providers that store files and serve the site.
- Payment processor: processes purchases and refunds.
- Sign-in provider: if you choose to sign in with an external account.
- Analytics and error monitoring: tools that help us measure and fix problems.
- Authorities and advisers: when the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety.

How long we keep information
Guest results stay in your history for 7 days. Account data is kept while your account is open. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Logs are kept for a limited period [[TBD-LOG-RETENTION]]. Moderation records may be kept longer where needed to enforce our rules.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and monitoring. No online service is perfectly secure, and public images are by design visible to others.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, to object to or restrict some uses, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. To use these rights, write to [[TBD-CONTACT-EMAIL]]. We may need to verify who you are first. Guests who clear their browser data may no longer be identifiable to us, which can limit what we can find.
Age limit and international transfers
ImageGenAI is for people aged [[TBD-MIN-AGE]] or older. We do not knowingly collect information from younger children, and we will delete it if we learn of it.
We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes we will tell you on the site or by email.
